Jus Roll Pastry reviews

Hi everyone,
I saw these in the local supermarket and thought I would give them a try. I bought the croissants and the pain au chocolate and I will defiantly be trying more from the range and these one again they are so easy to make and taste amazing.

For the croissants you twist open the can and out comes your pastry all you have to do is cut along the dotted lines and roll up brush with milk and put into the oven.

The pain au chocolate you twist open the can cut along the lines set the chocolate in and roll up. Simple.

They are both cooked at 180C in a fan assisted oven.

Most of them disappeared before I could get a picture. So go grab some of these tasty easy bakes and make something special for breakfast or lunch.

Topshop lipstick

Hi everyone,
Here I am again I want to tell everyone about how great Topshop lipsticks are. They maybe high street and many people will think Topshop please how can a clothes shop make good make-up. However trust me on this and try one out you will go back for the rest. There are so many different colours and I really want to have them all and they are a decent price at £8 a stick sometimes they have a deal on for two for £12.

So anyway back to the lipstick most of the colours are in your face bright but you can smudge it out for a more natural look or for during the day. They always have plenty of colours to choose from no matter the time of the year.

I currently own 8 of these lipsticks and will edit this post when I buy more of the range.

From left to right: Disty, Infrared, Nevada, Brighton Rock, The Damned, Beguiled, Drive, Screen Siren.

Clinique balm

Hi everyone,
I just thought I would do a review on my current favourite make-up remover which is Clinique's take the day of balm. I bought this product after seeing it in a monthly favourites video on Tanya Burr's channel.

The lightweight cleansing balm quickly dissolves stubborn eye and face make-ups. the balm transforms from a solid balm into a silky oil when massaged onto the skin. Non-greasy, non-drying for all skin types.

How to Use:

Massage onto the skin when dry

Rinse with warm water

Pat dry

It costs £22 for 125ml it is well worth it because it lasts for ages I've been using mine for a few months now.
However I will say that its very hard to get your hands on as its always sold out I got mine on the Clinique website.

What I got for Christmas

Hi everyone,
Ok before I start I would just like to say how much I'm not showing off or bragging I'm very grateful for what I got and I love it all. So disclaimer done with.

I absolutely love seeing what other people got for Christmas so I thought maybe others would like to see what I got.

My boyfriend got me a cheeky early Christmas present when we where out shopping for Christmas. I always go into build a bear workshop (its a shop where you basically pick the bear or animal that you would like and they stuff it and you put a heart into it and then its yours). I love going in there and so Robi decided that he would get me a teddy this time. I got a reindeer with a jumper on him he's soooo cute.

He got me some MAC make-up because I have recently started to build up my collection, he got me the eye shadow pallet with the eye shadows, Sumptuous Olive, Expensive Pink, Naked Lunch, Tilt, Amberlights, Orb, Brule, Swiss Chocolate and Rule, the prep&prime fix plus spray (I will be doing reviews on this a bit later I want to have used it for a while before I make up my mind about the products).

I also got a new pair of trainers mine were run right through actually falling apart.

Jo Malone perfume in blackberry and bay. I love this perfume so much it just smells so fresh.

And last but not least from my boyfriend I got an acceptance letter for Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry and a Marauders map. I love Harry Potter a lot and these were amazing presents to receive.

From my mum and dad I got some more MAC make-up in the form of Velvet teddy lipstick its gorgeous like pinky mauve colour. Prep&prime highlighter in light boost, 217 & 239 brushes and the limited edition Fleeting romance blusher.

As a wee surprise I got a gorgeous frame, a cute pair of socks with reindeer on them and some chocolate.

My little brothers got me a Real techniques brush set and a lovely make up set from Seventeen.

My sister got me a book stand for when I'm baking so my books don't get covered in baking stuff, a pair of fluffy slipper boots, a nail painting book and Ted Baker bath foam which smells amazing.

My brother and his family got me a really nice Christmas set out of lush its so nice I love having lush baths.

My friend Tasha got me a charm of a rabbit for my nomination bracelet, a nieva gift set, a handbag and an along came betty hand cream.

I really want to thank everyone for giving me these amazing gifts and I'm so thankful to have friends and family around me at Christmas to celebrate the season and bring in the new year with.

So I hope everyone had great Christmas and an amazing new year.

Pumpkin cream cheese swiss roll

Hi everyone,
Hello again I'm here today to bring you an amazing autumn recipe. Pumpkin and cream cheese swiss roll. This is the first time I have made a swiss roll and it was surprisingly easy. So here are the ingredients and equipment used

Ingredients

For the sponge

120g Plain flour
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
3 Eggs
200g Caster sugar
120g Tinned pumpkin puree
Icing sugar for dusting

For the filling

170g Icing sugar, sifted
60g Unsalted butter, softened
240g Full fat cream cheese (philadelphia)
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Method

Preheat the oven to 170°C (325°F , gas mark 3) and line your swiss roll tin the baking paper.

To make the sponge, sift the flour, cinnamon and bicarbonate of soda together and set aside.

Using a free standing mixer with the whisk attachment whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy and doubled in size. Fold in the pumpkin puree then the sifted dry ingredients.

Pour the batter in the prepared tin and bake for approximately 15-17 minutes or until the sponge bounces back at a light touch.

Allow to cool in the tin.

Using the free standing mixer with the paddle attachment this time add the icing sugar and butter and beat on a low speed until a sandy consistency has been reached.

Add a little of the cream cheese to loosen the mixture and mix until incorporated. Add the rest of the cream cheese then the vanilla extract and beat on medium speed until light and fluffy.

Dust tea towel with icing sugar, loosen the edges of the sponge and invert onto the tea towel. Roll the tea towel with the sponge from the narrow end and leave on a rack for 10-15 minutes.

Gently unroll the sponge and peel of the baking paper, spread the cream cheese frosting over the inside of the sponge them re-roll without the tea towel, dust with icing sugar and enjoy.

So I hope you liked this little blog its is so tasty and you will defiantly be making more than one. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe.

Revlon colorburst lip butters

Hi everyone,
I am going to do a review on the Revlon colorburst lip butters. I have quite a few of them and I must say that I am impressed with the quality of them, they are sheer but the darker colours have a mice amount of pigmentation in them so its not just plain. The colours are gorgeous on and easy to apply they don't bleed and will last for approximately 3 hours without eating or drinking. They also have a good texture they aren't sticky and moisturise my lips well. They are an excellent addition to your make-up collection if you aren't yet comfortable with stand out colours of an actual lip stick or maybe you just want to update that boring chap stick whichever it is this is the way to go. They retail at £7.99 but I picked them up on sale at Superdrug for £5.99.

These are the pink shades going from left to right number 090 Sweet Tart, 053 Sorbet, 045 Cotton candy, 080 Strawberry shortcake and 005 Sugar frosting. Cotton Candy, Strawberry Shortcake and Sugar frosting are all very similar on but look very different colours in the tubes. the same can be said for Sorbet and Sweet Tart. My favourite pink toned lip butter has got to be Sorbet, it has the most pigmentation and looks the best on me as I think it suits my skin tone best.

090 Sweet Tart, 053 Sorbet, 045 Cotton Candy, 080 Strawberry Shortcake, 005 Sugar Frosting

These are the more Orangey/red toned lip butters going from left to right 027 Juicy Papaya 015 Tutti Frutti 035 Candy Apple and 063 Wild Watermelon. Juicy Papaya and Tutti Frutti are both very sheer on the lips but I like them if I'm having a sort of not to much make up day they blend well with every skin tone but I love the Wild Watermelon and Candy Apple they are so good if I want a bright lip but don't want to bother with lip liner and lipstick.

027 Juicy Papaya, 015 Tutti Frutti, 035 Candy Apple, 063 Wild Watermelon

These are they more nude toned lip butters from left to right 095 Crème Brulee 025 Peach Parfait 001 Pink Truffle, 050 Berry Smoothie and Macaroon. Crème Brulee is very light on my lips and I don't no if I could get away with it but the rest are amazing I love Pink Truffle I wear it all the time as well as Peach Parfait and the Berry Smoothie one is gorgeous on as well.

Hope you liked the post leave a comment for any other things you would like me to try out and review. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe.

My Review on Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Hello blogging world I would like to introduce myself I am Emma and this is my brand new beauty, baking and lifestyle blog.

I would like to start of by reviewing a product that is now a staple in my life and that is Nars Sheer Glow foundation.

This foundation is amazingly light on my skin and doesn't move all day with no need to touch up, the foundation itself has a sheer quality to it and leaves a slight healthy glow on the skin it has medium coverage andcan cover most blemishes and even out skin tone, it also looks great in photos it won't "disappear" in photos with the flash on (as I have encountered with some foundations) and has a really even finish, the colour that I use is Santa Fe which I got in a store in Belfast called Space NK the lovely girls in there found the right colour for me and it perfectly matches my skin tone (thank you lovely lady's) this is definitely a foundation I will use for a long time I am completely in love.

Here is the website for Nars: http://www.narscosmetics.co.uk/?d=true
